About the Diva
Hello. My name is Stephanie, and I'm a Trip Diva. I've been traveling for longer than I can remember. According to my parents, I went on my first road trip at three weeks old. I can't recall a time when I wasn't familiary with being on an airplane, and I took my first unaccompanied flight when I was six. I went to my first foreign country at 16, and at the moment, I'm taking a "working holiday" on my own in New Zealand for (hopefully) most of the rest of 2008. My family moved around at lot while I was growing up, so I've got a good handle on the whole get-up-and-go philosophy. Now that I'm an adult, I've preferred to stay more or less in one place, but I still have itchy feet. I take a trip that requires my passport at least once a year, and I'll generally head to at least a couple of other destinations that will get me some decent frequent flier miles. I'm a firm believer in the curative powers of travel. Need an ego boost, a reality check, a life lesson, or just a break from your day-to-day existence? Travel can provide any of the above and so much more – usually all on the same trip. I think travel has the ability to let you become the best possible version of you, if you're willing to embrace the experience – both the good and the not-so-good. To me, that's truly what elevates someone from a traveler to a Trip Diva. About the SiteWeb design by Molly Hollern | fivexfive.cc |
